For requests sent via email, you must put the statement "Your California Privacy Rights" in the subject field of your email. All requests sent via postal mail must be labeled "Your California Privacy Rights" on the accompanying envelope or post card and clearly stated on the actual request. For all requests, please include your name, street address, city, state, and zip code. (Your street address is optional if you wish to receive a response to your request via email. However, please include your zip code for our own recordkeeping.) We will not accept requests via the telephone or by facsimile. We are not responsible for requests that are not labeled or sent properly, or do not have complete information.
Collection and Use of Information You Give Us Directly
Personal Information is information that identifies you and that you provide us directly, such as

With respect to SHO.com, we have developed a system that enables you to express your preferences regarding our newsletters and communications. To remove yourself from a mailing list, go to the edit profile section: http://sho.com/sho/accounts/users/edit and log in with your email and SHO.com password. You can view and change your email preferences. To unsubscribe from a certain newsletter, uncheck the appropriate box. If you'd like to add a new newsletter, simply check the corresponding box. Be sure to click the submit changes link at the bottom of the page to make sure your preferences get updated. If you are under the age of 18, you do not have access to our communication tools.
Please note that even if you opt not to receive promotional messages in accordance with the preceding paragraph, we may still send you communications relating to your use of the Site, such as administrative messages, service announcements, or terms and conditions of your account.
Collection of Information by Third Party Sites
The Site strives to offer its visitors a secure and safe environment for credit card purchases. Children's Use of the Site
We are sensitive to parents' concerns about the collection of information from children. We do not retain Personal Information from children under the age of 18. If, during the registration or account management process, we learn that a user is under 18, we delete any Personal Information collected from that user. Nor will children under 18 be able to use our communications tools or submit information to any public area of the Site (which includes, but is not limited to, message/bulletin boards, forums and contests and chat rooms). We do not share children's Personal Information with outside third parties for their own marketing purposes.
