A Merry War

An ad agency copywriter (Richard E. Grant) quits his job to pursue his romantic notions of becoming a poet, but the economic disadvantages of full-time poetry writing soon catch up to him and his girlfriend (Helena Bonham Carter). This comedy from director Robert Bierman is based on the novel "Keep the Aspidistra Flying" by George Orwell.
