Wishful Thinking

A commitment-phobic but jealous movie theater projectionist, Max (James Le Gros) finally pushes his girlfriend, Elizabeth (Jennifer Beals) too far and she breaks off their relationship. In the meantime, Max's coworker, the quirky cashier Lena (Drew Barrymore) has her own plans for Max, whom she thinks might be her true love. Jon Stewart, Eric Thal and Mel Gorham costar in this romantic comedy.
