Sister Mary Explains It All

Christopher Durang's play becomes this comedy-drama from director Marshall Brickman. In the early 1980s, Sister Mary (Diane Keaton) hosts a quartet of ex-students (Brian Benben, Wallace Langham, Laura San Giacomo and Jennifer Tilly) who present a disturbing version of the third grade Christmas pageant they created 25 years earlier. In fact, her students intend to castigate Mary for failing to teach them about life's cruel hardships, but the wily nun has one more lesson to teach about the power of love.
