Snow In August

In the summer of 1947, the friendship of a young Catholic boy, Michael (Peter Tambakis) with a Czech rabbi (Stephen Rea) inspires the wrath of a local Irish street gang, a situation that boils over when Michael witnesses the vicious beating of a Jewish shopkeeper. Soon, Michael has lost his childhood best friends and is forced to turn for help to an ancient Jewish text with the power to summon a supernatural protector.
