Dummy

Adrien Brody ("The Pianist") stars in filmmaker Greg Pritikin's warmhearted and eccentric ensemble comedy centering around an introverted, 30-ish ventriloquist whose outspoken and independent nature is heard only in the voice of his performing dummy. Still living at home with difficult parents (Ron Leibman and Jessica Walter) and a frustrated older sister (Illeana Douglas), shy Steven (Brody) senses change may be necessary. However, some well-meaning dating advice from a high-school friend (Milla Jovovich) only compounds Steven's plight.
