Two Family House

A blue collar Italian-American man in 1950's Staten Island buys a ramshackle two-story home intending to transform his investment into a bar, but he must first evict the scrappy Irish single mother and her half-African-American son from the premises, a situation that soon leads to an unlikely and greatly disparaged romance. Michael Rispoli, Kelly Macdonald and Kathrine Narducci star in this winner of the Audience Award at the 2000 Sundance Film Festival.
