The Baxter

Michael Showalter ("The State," "Stella") directs, writes and stars in this charming romantic comedy as Elliot Sherman, a nice-guy accountant with a pushover personality who decides, egged on by a mousy office temp (Michelle Williams), to take a stand for once in his life when his beautiful fiancee (Elizabeth Banks) is pursued by another man. Justin Theroux costars in this likable debut with Peter Dinklage, Zak Orth, Paul Rudd and Michael Ian Black.
