Mighty Joe Young

The beautiful daughter (Charlize Theron) of a slain scientist raises a rare two-ton mountain gorilla in the jungles of Africa, but allows a safari leader (Bill Paxton) to bring the giant beast to Los Angeles in order to save him from a poacher who is obsessed with capturing the mythical creature. Regina King costars in this family fantasy, a modern-day remake of the 1949 classic.
