In Sydney, Australia during the Jazz Age of the 1920's, a criminal boxing promoter and nightclub owner (Hugo Weaving) hires a young fighter (Matt Le Nevez) who develops a romantic interest in his patron's sexy mistress (Rose Byrne). Also known as "The Tender Hook."
