Lily in Love

A Broadway actor (Christopher Plummer) aching for a substantial movie role discovers that his own wife (Maggie Smith) has written just such a character in her new script, except that the part calls for a blonde Italian man. Never one to be dissuaded by details, he soon dons a wig, affects an Italian accent, and is quickly en route to Budapest for filming. Elke Sommer costars in this comic spoof of show business.
