Ondine

Troubled Irish fisherman Syracuse (Colin Farrell) discovers a woman in his fishing nets one day and his ailing daughter Annie is convinced that she's a "selkie," a mermaid-like sea creature, and names her "Ondine." As their houseguest becomes a good luck omen for them and their lives turn around, Syracuse and Annie are not prepared for the truth about Ondine's origins. Alicja Bachleda and Stephen Rea costar in this fantasy drama from writer, director and producer Neil Jordan.
