Nola

Running away from her dysfunctional and abusive family, a Kansas teenager named Nola (Emmy Rossum) escapes to New York, where she seeks her long-lost father, gets a job as a waitress, and falls in love with a handsome coworker (James Badge Dale) who is studying to become a lawyer. Nola has soon risen to become an assistant to a powerful escort service owner, but her world is threatened when a powerful client tries to have an expose written about Nola's employer.
