Indie rock musician Ethan Brand's boozing and anger management issues are getting out of control and costing him a more successful career. So it's bad timing when he is suddenly saddled during a musical tour with Janie, the 13-year-old daughter he never knew he had. When he discovers that Janie has real musical talent, however, Ethan finds that unexpected fatherhood is the first step toward redemption.
