Exit Through The Gift Shop

The mysterious graffiti artist known as Banksy directed this acclaimed portrait of a French-born Los Angeles thrift shop owner named Thierry Guetta. Guetta's obsession with videotaping his life and the work of underground street artists such as Space Invader (and Banksy himself) turns into this film, causing a rift with Banksy but also launching Guetta's career as the well-known street artist "Mr. Brainwash." The lines between art and artifice, fact and fiction blur delightfully in this Oscar(R)-nominated documentary.
