Jim, a night-shift janitor at a department store (Frank Whaley), encounters an old high school classmate, Josie (Jennifer Connelly), asleep in a dressing room. After learning that Josie had planned on shoplifting some merchandise but then backed out, the two start a flirty relationship while enjoying the comforts of having the entire store to themselves. However, things take a turn for the worse when two crooks break into the store and hold Jim and Josie hostage in this romantic comedy.
