Diane Keaton's feature-film directing debut stars Nathan Watt as Steven Lidz, a young boy trapped between his dying mother (Andie MacDowell), his nutty inventor-professor of a father (John Turturro) and his two, highly eccentric, oddball uncles (Michael Richards, Maury Chaykin). Richard LaGravenese ("The Fisher King," "The Horse Whisperer") adapted this acclaimed drama from Franz Lidz's autobiographical book.
