Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress Christine Lahti ("Swing Shift," "Running on Empty") stars in this true-life account of Hungarian gynecologist Gisella Perl, who survived the Holocaust by working as the head of women's infirmary at Auschwitz - a fact that lands her in serious political trouble when she emigrates to the United States in 1946. Beau Bridges, Richard Crenna, Bruce Davison, Jonathan Cake and Zoie Palmer costar in this thoughtful fact-based drama from director Joseph Sargent ("Bojangles," "Miss Evers' Boys").
