Orchids: My Intersex Adventure

Filmmaker Phoebe Hart, who discovered during her teenage years that she had been born a hermaphrodite, directs and stars in this documentary, a personal journey across Australia to interview other intersex citizens about their lives and experiences. While chronicling her journey, Phoebe contemplates adoption with her partner James, and tries to persuade her reluctant mother to discuss her birth and childhood.
