Georgia "George" Lass (ELLEN MUTH) is the youngest member of an undead group of grim reapers. At the tender age of eighteen she met her demise and is now learning to adjust to her new role as a reaper. She looks at the world from the outside with sarcasm and a wry sense of humor. Being undead has given her the opportunity to rediscover love and laughter, and to gain a better understanding of life than she had the first time around.
Rube (MANDY PATINKIN) is the leader of the grim reaper team. His in-depth knowledge of the world and kind demeanor make him the mentor everyone wishes they had. He helps each member of the reaper team find their place within the realm of the undead.
Young Mason (CALLUM BLUE) is part of the grim reaper team and is the kind of guy that any girl would be attracted to in this life or afterlife. This is one grim reaper who is good-looking, mischievous, and just bad enough to be fascinating - without being dangerous.
Daisy (LAURA HARRIS) is an actress who, before meeting her demise on the set of Gone with the Wind, was better known for her off-screen sexual exploits than for her on-screen performances. Daisy hasn't given up hope of a comeback in the afterlife, although she hasn't heard from her agent in decades.
Joy (CYNTHIA STEVENSON), is George's mother, a stubborn, head-strong woman who had an inability to connect with her daughter in life and is having an even harder time connecting with her in the afterlife.
Beautiful Betty (REBECCA GAYHEART) is pure sparkle wrapped up in glamour. She dazzles while carrying out her job of collecting souls.
Roxy (JASMINE GUY) is the gorgeous, sassy and street-smart member of this troupe of grim reapers. She has no problem telling it like it is. As the veteran of the group she makes sure everyone knows their place within the reaper team.
Reggie (BRITT McKILLIP) is Georgia's little misfit sister who has her own peculiar way of coming to terms with the sudden death of her big sister. Like most pre-teens, she has a hard time communicating with her parents and is often confused by a world that is constantly changing around her.
Clancy (GREG KEAN) is George's father, a university professor, who has a terrible relationship with George's mother Joy. He's at a loss as to how to deal with the George's death and Reggie's subsequent malaise.
