Byrd HuffstodtAnton Yelchin began to act professionally in 1999 at the mere age of nine. He made his film debut in the independent film "A Man Is Mostly Water," and has worked continuously since that time in films such as "Hearts in Atlantis" with Anthony Hopkins (which earned him a 2001 Young Artists Award for Best Performer), "Delivering Milo" opposite Albert Finney, "Fifteen Minutes" with Robert DeNiro and Ed Burns, "A Time for Dancing" with Peter Coyote and "Along Came a Spider" with Morgan Freeman. Yelchin stars opposite Robin Williams in David Duchovny's feature directorial debut "House of D." He will also star in Lions Gate's "Fierce People" opposite Diane Lane (March 2006 release) and in the Nick Cassavetes - directed drama "Alpha Dog" (New Line), a drama based on the life of drug dealer, Jesse James Hollywood.
His television credits include the Showtime original film "Jack," with Ron Silver and Stockard Channing. He also co-starred in the USA Network mini-series "Taken," and the Disney movie-of-the week "Geppetto" opposite Drew Carey. His television guest appearances include "E.R," "Judging Amy," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Without a Trace," "NYPD Blue," and "The Practice."
In his spare time Yelchin loves to play guitar, write and take photos.
