Kelly KnippersFaith Prince is best known for her Tony-winning turn as the perennially unwed "Miss Adelaide" in the 1992 Broadway revival of
Guys and Dolls, for which she also won Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards. On Broadway she has created a variety of roles including Ella Peterson in the revival of
Bells Are Ringing (Outer Critics Circle, Drama Desk and Tony nominations), Jerome Robbins'
Broadway (Tony and Drama Desk nomination),
Nick and Nora (Outer Circle Critics award),
Little Me with Martin Short, James Joyce's
The Dead (which she reprised for the West Coast and Washington premieres and received Ovation and Helen Hayes nominations), as well as playing an acclaimed Anna in
The King and I. Faith originated the role of Trina in William Finn's
Falsettoland, and also appeared off-Broadway in
Bad Habits,
Urban Blight,
Groucho,
Little Shop of Horrors,
Olympus on My Mind, and
Scrambled Feet. On television, Faith recurred for five seasons on
Spin City as well as a season on the short lived
Now and Again. She starred in the self titled series
Faith and in last year's NBC pilot
Sweet Potato Queens. Other television appearances include the PBS special
