Beth Huffstodt Paget Brewster appeared opposite Tommy Lee Jones in the Revolution Studios comedy "Man of the House" and will star in the upcoming independent feature "The Big Bad Swim." Brewster co-starred in the highly regarded FOX series "Andy Richter Controls the Universe," as Richter's friend and boss. Prior to that, she was seen in the ABC comedy "The Trouble With Normal" as 'Claire,' the neurotic therapist to four paranoid men (including John Cryer and David Krumholtz). Brewser is also recognized for her memorable performance on "Friends" as 'Kathy,' the quirky girlfriend of Matt LeBlanc's character 'Joey.' Her six-episode arc on the show garnered her much attention. Most recently, she guest starred on "Two And A Half Men" and "Stacked," and supplied voices for "Harvey Birdman" and "American Dad." She began her career in an off-Broadway production of Rabe's "Hurly Burly" after graduating from the Parsons School of Design in New York. She moved to San Francisco and worked on the public access show "Strange America," conducting interviews and doing sketch comedy. She went on to host a local late-night talk show in San Francisco, "The Paget Show," which ran for 65 episodes. Brewster moved to Los Angeles in 1996 and has been working steadily ever since. Among her feature film credits are "My Big Fat Independent Movie," "The Specials," opposite Rob Lowe, and Jamie Kennedy, "The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle," "Desperate But Not Serious," and "Let's Talk About Sex." On television, she starred in the series, "Love and Money" and the CBS movies "Witness: The Amber Frey Story," "One True Love," and "Max Q," with Billy Campbell. She was also the voice of 'Audrey' in the animated series "Godzilla." Brewster's additional stage credits include "Tartuffe," directed by Des McAnuff, "Four Dragons and a Bone," "Chapter Two," and "Pack of Lies." Brewster currently lives in Los Angeles. |
