MARIO CANTONE (Laugh Whore):
Broadway credits: Assassins, The Violet Hour, Love! Valour! Compassion! (Buzz), The Tempest / NYSF (Stephano). Off-Broadway: The Taming of the Shrew / Shakespeare in the Park (Grumio), June Moon (Benny), The Crumple Zone (Terry - Original Cast). Regional original roles: Richard Greenberg's The Violet Hour, Kander & Ebb's Over and Over. Film: Crooked Lines (Cannes 2003), Me and The Mob, Quiz Show, and Mouse Hunt. Carnegie Hall, opening for Shirley Bassey, Atlantic City resorts and Caroline's on Broadway. Now in its sixth and final season, you can see Mario as Anthony Marentino on "Sex & The City." His other TV credits include: "The Chapelle Show," NBC's "Ed," "Late Night with David Letterman," "Steampipe Alley," "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," "The View," hosting A&E "Biography." Mario has numerous credits from Comedy Central including "The Denis Leary Roast," "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn," "The USO Comedy Tour," "Premium Blend," and his own half-hour special "Comedy Central Presents... Mario Cantone." Mario would like to thank Joe Mantello for sticking by him, Harold Lubin for not only contributing humor to Laugh Whore, but also to his life since he was 2!!! And, last but certainly not least, Jerry Dixon, without whom none of this would have ever been possible! This one's for Teddy, Joey, Marion, and Camille - thanks for the material!

JOE MANTELLO (Director):
Directing credits include Assassins (Tony Award), Take Me Out (Tony Award), Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, A Man of No Importance, Design for Living, Terrence McNally and Jake Heggie's Dead Man Walking for the San Francisco Opera, The Vagina Monologues, bash, Another American: Asking and Telling, Love! Valour! Compassion!, Proposals, The Mineola Twins, Corpus Christi, Mizlansky/Zilinsky or Schmucks, Blue Window, God's Heart, The Santaland Diaries, Lillian, Snakebit, Three Hotels, Imagining Brad and Fat Men in Skirts. Mr. Mantello also directed the film Love! Valour! Compassion!. As an actor he appeared in Angels in America (Tony nomination) and The Baltimore Waltz. Mr. Mantello is the recipient of the Outer Critics Circle, Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel, Helen Hayes, Clarence Derwent, Obie and Joe A. Callaway awards. He is a member of Naked Angels and an associate artist at the Roundabout.

JERRY DIXON (Composer, Co-Lyricist):
Known as an actor for Broadway and Off-Broadway: Once on This Island; Five Guys Named Moe; Bright Lights, Big City; The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin; newyorkers, and tick, tick... BOOM! (Drama Desk nomination). Composer/Arranger Credits: CBS, VH-1, Comedy Central and an original musical, Guess Who's Coming for Chitlins? Directing Credits: Solo concerts of Broadway star LaChanze and recording artist Raúl Midón. Other Directing Credits: Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Belgium National Symphony, and National Black Theatre of NYC. He is now developing director of Barnstormer, a new musical, based on the life of aviator/daredevil Bessie Coleman.

HAROLD LUBIN (Co-Lyricist):
With a checkered past that has included stints as an actor, comedy writer, publicist and teacher, Harold is pleased to be making his Broadway debut as a lyricist with his work for Laugh Whore. His work has been seen on Comedy Central and in nightclubs, cabarets and other dens of iniquity. He is available for all your comedy needs. ROBERT BRILL (Set Design):
Broadway: Assassins (Tony nomination), Eve Ensler's The Good Body, Cabaret, Anna In The Tropics, Design For Living, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Buried Child and The Rehearsal. Selected New York theater: Sinatra for Radio City Music Hall, The Story, Kimberly Akimbo, Blue/Orange, Tuesdays with Morrie, Monster, The Laramie Project, Another American, The Mineola Twins, Lillian, God's Heart, Blue Window, Two Sisters and a Piano, A Park in Our House, and The Batting Cage. Upcoming projects include On The Record for Disney Theatrical and the Broadway revival of The Wiz.

JULES FISHER AND PEGGY EISENHAUER (Lighting Designers):
began working together nineteen years ago on Bob Fosse's Big Deal. Together they received the 2004 Tony Award for Assassins directed by Joe Mantello, and the 1996 Tony Award for Bring In 'Da Noise, Bring In 'Da Funk. Jules Fisher has designed the lighting for over 150 Broadway productions garnering six additional Tony Awards for Pippin, Dancin', Ulysses in Nighttown, Grand Hotel, The Will Rogers Follies, and Jelly's Last Jam, the latter three collaborations with Ms. Eisenhauer. Their designs of the theatrical lighting sequences in collaboration with Cinematographer Dion Beebe on the film Chicago was honored with a 2003 Academy Award nomination for Cinematography. Other recent performance lighting can be seen in the films Stepford Wives, Marci "X" and School of Rock. Their studio, Third Eye, conceives and designs lighting for all forms of entertainment.

TONY MEOLA (Sound Designer):

ROCHELLE JOSEPH (Grooming and Styling):
An Image Consultant/stylist to actors, musicians and on-air talent, she's dressed clients for appearances and performances and done numerous commercials, music videos, fashion shoots and specials. TV/film credits include "Rescue Me" (FX), Conde Naste's "Fashion Rocks" (Fox-A&E), "Low Carb and Lovin' It" (Food Network), "The Job" (ABC), Court TV's "Smoking Gun," Dawg, Comedy Central's Celebrity Roast and HBO's "Lock n' Load." As house designer for Gallery of Angels Theater she enjoyed wonderful reviews for off-Broadway's Galleria Della Angeli. Special thanks to Mario Cantone.

TOM KITT (Musical Director, Arranger, Conductor/Pianist):
Broadway: Urban Cowboy, Bombay Dreams, An Evening With Mario Cantone, Nothing Like A Dame, Caroline's on Broadway's 20th Anniversary, Lincoln Center Songbook. Off-Broadway: Debbie Does Dallas, Dream A Little Dream, Showstopper, For The Love of Tiffany, It's Only Life: The Songs of John Bucchino, Making Tracks, Dog Sees God. Tom is also the leader of the Tom Kitt Band (www.tomkittband.com) who's debut album Find Me includes songs that have been featured on "Dawson's Creek" and the feature film The Two Ninas. In 2004, Tom received a grant from the Jonathan Larson Foundation for his original musical, Feeling Electric, and he is currently composing the score for the musical High Fidelity with Amanda Green and David Lindsay-Abaire. JONATHAN BURKHART (Associate Producer):
is honored to be working on Broadway. Founder of the Nantucket Film Festival, he has produced independent films for the last decade, including 1999's award-winning Baby Steps, starring Kathy Bates and directed by Geoffrey Nauffts. Previously, he was a cinematographer for dozens of features, commercials, and documentaries. Mr. Burkhart also produces live events for Project ALS, a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure for Lou Gehrig's disease, and is a board member of the Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation. Jonathan Larson taught me about the theatre. If it weren't for him, I probably wouldn't be doing this today.
