HOW TO ENTER:The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 NOON, Eastern Time (ET) on December 11, 2007 and ends at 12:00 NOON ET on December 28, 2007 (the “Promotion Period”.) To enter, go to www.sho.com/walkonrolesweeps, follow the onscreen instructions to complete the official entry form, and click to submit. Limit of one entry per person during the promotion period. The Sponsor, Administrator, and any Internet access providers, their respective parents, affiliates, divisions, subsidiary companies, successors, and agencies and each of the foregoing entities’ respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders, and agents (the “Released Parties”) are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transfer of entry information, human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, or software or any combination thereof, inability to access web sites, damage to a user’s computer system (hardware and software) due to participation in this Sweepstakes or any other problem or error that may occur, or for late, lost, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, mechanically reproduced, illegible, or incorrectly entered entries. Participants who submit inaccurate entry data and/or exceed the entry limits may be excluded from participation at any time during the promotion. All entries become the property of the Sponsor. Any entry information collected from the sweepstakes shall be used only in a manner consistent with the consent given by entrants at the time of entry, with these Official Rules, and with Sponsor’s Online Privacy Policy which can be found at www.sho.com/site/util/privacy.do. Showtime has contracted Marden-Kane, an independent third party sweepstakes administrator. The entry information is shared with Marden-Kane for the sole purpose of the selection, notification, and the fulfillment of the Grand Prize. Entrants agree to be bound by these rules and consent to use of their names and/or photographs for advertising or publicity purposes by Sponsor and its designees in any and all media without further consideration, except where prohibited by law.

PRIZE DRAWING:A random drawing to select one potential Grand Prize winner and five potential First Prize winners from among all eligible entries received will be conducted on or about January 4, 2008. Drawing will be conducted by Marden-Kane Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Potential winners are subject to eligibility verification and compliance with these official rules. Marden-Kane will notify potential Grand Prize winner by regular mail within seven (7) days of the prize drawing. Potential Grand Prize winner will be required to sign, have notarized and return to Marden-Kane an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability, and, where legal, a publicity release within fourteen (14) days of issuance of notification. Failure to complete and return the documents in the time noted or if prize notification is undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected and notified. Grand Prize winner must be 21 years of age or older. Travel companion of Grand Prize winner must also be 21 years of age or older (unless travel companion is the child of the Grand Prize winner). Grand Prize winner’s travel companion (parent/guardian, if travel companion is a minor) must sign and return a consent to publicity (where legal), liability waiver, and travel release form prior to traveling. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its designees to use the results and proceeds of winner’s services hereunder and the name, voice, actual or simulated likeness and biographical information of winner and/or travel companion in connection with the Series and the exploitation thereof (including, without limitation, for advertising and promotional purposes) in perpetuity, throughout the universe, in all media whether now known or hereafter devises, without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. First Prize winners will receive their prizes by regular mail. Odds of winning prize are subject to the total number of eligible entries received.

Prize: One (1) Grand Prize:A 3-Day/2-Night trip to Los Angeles, CA, a visit to the set of Dexter for the Grand Prize winner and one guest, plus the opportunity for the Grand Prize winner to have a walk-on role on a future episode of Dexter. (Specifics of the walk-on role will be determined at Producer’s discretion and may include, but are not limited to, the winner possibly playing an extra in a background scene or a victim at a crime scene). Grand Prize consists of round-trip coach air transportation for winner and guest to Los Angeles, CA from a single major U.S. gateway airport nearest to winner’s home (as determined by Sponsor), double occupancy standard hotel accommodations for two (2) nights, a visit to the Dexter set, and ground transfers in Los Angeles between the airport/hotel and between the hotel/studio. Selection of trip destination and trip dates is at the sole discretion of Sponsor and Producer’s production schedules. Winner will receive less than 30 days notice prior to trip departure. A 2008 production schedule for the taping of Dexter is anticipated, but has not yet been determined. If Dexter production does not commence by December 31, 2008, is canceled, rescheduled, or, if for any reason, Sponsor is unable to provide the visit to the set and the walk-on role, or if the Grand Prize winner cannot take the trip to be in Los Angeles on a date specified by the Sponsor, the Sponsor shall have no further obligation to the Grand Prize winner and guest other than to supply the trip to Los Angeles as described within one (1) year from date of prize notification, minus set visit and walk-on role. All other expenses relating to acceptance of Grand Prize not explicitly stated herein, including but not limited to taxes, ground transfers (other than those between airport/hotel and between hotel/studio), meals, beverages, alcoholic beverages and gratuities are responsibility of Grand Prize winner and guest. Travel must be completed on dates specified by Sponsor or Grand Prize will be forfeited. Specifics of Grand Prize travel package are subject to availability and Sponsor’s sole discretion. Complete terms and conditions of Grand Prize trip will be furnished with prize notification. Travel must be made through Sponsor’s agent on a carrier of Sponsor’s choice. Reservations are subject to availability. Travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents (e.g. acceptable photo ID, passport, visa, etc.). If winner resides within a 100 mile radius of Los Angeles, ground transportation may be provided for winner and guest in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided for difference in prize value. Administrator, and/or any other relevant party, reserves the right to remove or to deny entry to any winner and/or guest who engages in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person at the set. Prize is non-transferable; no substitutions or cash awards allowed, except at the discretion of the Sponsor in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Only the winner will receive the walk-on role. Sponsor does not guarantee that winner’s filmed scenes will appear on the final aired program. All details of prize not specified herein shall be determined solely by Sponsor. Approximate retail value (ARV) of Grand Prize is $3,500. Actual value or prize may vary based on winner’s point of departure and arrival, dates of travel, and airfares at time of booking. Five (5) First Prizes: A Dexter Prize Pack consisting of a Dexter Season 1 DVD and a Dexter Bowl Till You Bleed bowling shirt, ARV of First Prize: $100 each. Approximate retail value of all prizes is $4,000. Any and all guarantees and warranties for merchandise prizes is subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions, and each winner agrees to look solely to such manufacturer for any such warranty or guarantee claim.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:Each participant agrees (i) to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and judges which are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes, and (ii) to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any & all claims, actions, and/or liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in and/or for entry into this Sweepstakes, any related activities, or acceptance or use of any prize won.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Should this Sweepstakes be terminated, Sponsor reserves the right to select potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the action requiring such termination. Released Parties are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer system, server, or service providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer equipment relating to or resulting from participation in this sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the person assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the email address in question.
