Baltimore is equally at home in commercial design creating interiors for the 100,000 square foot headquarters of AriZona Iced Tea, Port Washington’s Bongo Bay restaurant (voted “most beautiful restaurant on Long Island by Zagat) and The Somerset Resort on Grace Bay in the British West Indies. The Baltimore Design Group’s 12,000 square foot showroom houses an exclusive and extensive library of furnishings, fabrics, lighting and wallcoverings.

Marc Thorpe, Third Eye Studios Third Eye Studios, led by Marc Thorpe, is an architectural and design cooperative known for its progressive design solutions that focus on the fundamental principles of functionality, integrity and clarity. The firm’s holistic design approach has been embraced by residential, commercial and leisure clients, some of which include Target, David Yurman, Yahoo and Infiniti. Thorpe is a recipient of the Scholastic Award for Scholarly Pursuit by the AIA and the American Architectural Foundation; and the Alpha Rho Chi medal for architectural leadership.
David Schwarz: Hush Studios, Inc. Hush cofounder David Schwarz describes his company as the new breed in creative studios. This New York-based directorial collective features a team of natural visual storytellers and designers, directors and artists of all pursuits. Whether using the latest technology or the most classic of techniques, Hush crafts visual stories for digital, broadcast, mobile and exhibition media. Schwarz is an award-winning director and designer with experience in live-action filmmaking, motion graphics, animation and interactive.

Francesca Bucci and Hans Galutera, BG Studio International Headed by the savvy architect and interior design duo of Francesca Bucci and Hans Galutera, BG Studio International’s work touches the lives of millions whether they’re shopping, at home or vacationing on the high seas. BG Studio’s work ranges from high-end residential and luxe commercial properties to award-winning cruise ship interiors. Bucci and Galutera have a flair for developing strong architectural details and cleverly layering styles that are classic and modern, timeless and witty. Among BG Studio’s portfolio are boutiques for Valentino, Donna Karan, DKNY, Barney’s and Bloomingdales; cruise ship interiors for Royal Caribbean International and commercial spaces for Trump International and New York’s Hotel Pierre.

Stephen Chung, Architect Boston’s Stephen Chung aspires to bridge the gap between design and architecture, and the general public. He’s well on his way toward doing just that having been welcomed into the homes of millions of television viewers who’ve seen him on design programs for HGTV and Fine Living Network. This Harvard educated architect made his mark collaborating with renowned architects and designers like Richard Meier, Machado Silvetti and Philippe Starck; and is known for his focus on small to mid-sized residential and hospitality projects. Chung is now working on a diverse number of projects including a nightclub in Boston and a villa in Cairo. He’s also in development on a travel-oriented TV show on architecture.
Matthias Altwicker, AB Architekten LEED-accredited architect Matthias Altwicker is a principal in AB Architekten. This New York City-based architecture firm is committed to eco-conscious building design with a focus on implementing solar energy systems. In addition to their residential and commercial work, AB Architekten is also collaborating with the Long Island Power Authority and the New York Institute of Technology on a photovoltaic research project. Previously, Altwicker was an architect in Berlin, Germany, where he focused on subsidized housing design.

Robert Bristow and Pilar Proffitt, POESIS Not only are Robert Bristow and Pilar Proffitt well-established designers of buildings, interiors and furniture, they're also husband and wife. This dynamic duo describes their work as fitting somewhere between art and design; and based on the common threads of simplicity, elegance and permanence which are expressed clearly and quietly in all that they make, be it furniture or architecture. Their studio and workshop--a former dairy barn--serves the dual roles of laboratory and production facility. There they create each piece of furniture by hand, one at a time. POESIS furniture is sold at Ralph Pucci. POESIS’ clientele includes the artsy set of the Great Barrington area in the Berkshires that’s home to producers, actors and the entertainment elite.

John Loecke and Jason Oliver Nixon, John Loecke, Inc. Interiors by John Loecke and Jason Oliver Nixon are all about the “F” words--frisky, fabulous and fun to be around. Their designs banish the beige and boring in favor of color-rich whimsy and sophistication whether the look is modern or ultra-traditional. John Loecke Inc. has designed everything from Manhattan aeries and luscious Hamptons beach houses to a cottage in New Orleans’ Garden District and a restaurant in rural Connecticut. The duo’s work can also be seen on the HGTV series, “Small Space, Big Style.”

Eric Chan, Bradley Price and Jeff Miller, ECCO Design Eric Chan, Bradley Price and Peng Zhao, who supervised the technical applications of this project, are part of ECCO Design, a creative group with a rich history in product design that’s rooted in user-centered innovation. Among the firm’s clientele are Herman MIller, Lexus/Toyota, Volkswagen, Cuisinart, OXO, LG Electronic and T-Mobile. ECCO's work can be found in the permanent collections of the London Design Museum, Musee des Arts Decoratifs de Montreal, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, the Smithsonian and the Israel Museum. As a long-time former member of ECCO Design who established his own practice in 2002, Jeff Miller is rejoining the team for this project. His portfolio boasts work for such distinguished clients as Apple, Colgate, Corning, LG, Motorola, OXO and Procter & Gamble

Gregory Okshteyn, Studios GO Gregory Okshteyn is the son of an artist who instilled a deep appreciation and understanding of art and design in him at a very young age. Okshteyn’s Studios GO is a creative high-end design firm on the rise. Some of the firm’s most notable projects include the Chelsea nightclub BED in New York, Jay-Z’s Roca Wear, Ace of Spades, Roc Nation headquarters, Top Chef winner Harold Dieterle’s Perilla restaurant, a Marc Ecko concept store and Brooklyn’s Duggal Greenhouse, whose LEED design was unveiled by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Katie Lydon, Katie Lydon Interiors From across the pond comes Katie Lydon. Originally from London, Lydon was educated at Wimbledon Art School, then Cambridge University. Her interiors reflect a knowledge and passion for antiques and architecture as well as an eye for contemporary art and design. Lydon believes that a balance of classic and modern pieces creates a home that is both timeless and exciting. Laura Bohn, Laura Bohn Design Associates Laura Bohn believes that less is more. Bohn is known for her flair in creating comfortable interiors that have been well edited. She also often pairs unexpected hues and shapes together to give rooms a depth and richness not easily replicated. Bohn’s international clientele reaches as far away as Europe, Japan and Saudi Arabia. Her work has been featured on television on the A&E Network, CNN’s Style and HGTV’s Interiors by Design. Brooks Atwood, POD Design + Media “Design like you mean it” is the mantra of Brooks Atwood and his team at POD Design + Media. This multidisciplinary design laboratory utilizes a think-tank approach to bring the most creative ideas to the surface whether they’re designing product or a skyscraper. Atwood, whose scholarly days include a stint at the L’Ecole de L’Architecture in France, has received numerous awards including the AIA Scholarship Award for Excellence and the AIA of Merit Award for his study of architecture and his work is on permanent display at the Samsung Museum of Art in Seoul, Korea.
Daniel Perlin, Perlin Studios Daniel Perlin is an artist and sound designer whose artistry knows no bounds. He works across multiple media creating sound, video, objects, installations and performances. Perlin’s work has been shown internationally at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, Tokyo’s TN Probe, the Yautepec Gallery in Mexico, London’s Temporary Contemporary Gallery as well as in a number of New York City venues. They include Guggenheim Film, The Storefront for Art and Architecture, P.S. 1, The New Museum, Postmaster’s Gallery and Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. As a sound designer for film, his feature film credits include Kelly Reichardt’s Old Joy, Errol Morris’ Fog or War and Phil Morrison’s Junebug.
