Jason Mitchell

Over only the last five years, Jason Mitchell has built his reputation as an actor on the rise. Mitchell achieved critical acclaim for his role as Eazy-E in STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON, the N.W.A. biopic directed by F. Gary Gray. In addition to winning the African American Film Critics Association Award for Best Supporting Actor, he shared nominations with his fellow cast mates for Best Ensemble at both the Screen Actors Guild Awards® and the Critics Choice Awards. Mitchell also received Variety and the San Diego International Film Festival’s Rising Star Award for his work in film. Mitchell has also appeared in DETROIT, directed by Kathryn Bigelow; starred in the box office hit KONG: SKULL ISLAND, directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts; can be seen in Dee Rees’ World War II drama MUDBOUND; and will appear in the upcoming film MUSTANG, directed by Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre and starring Matthias Schoenaerts and Bruce Dern.
