Numan Acar

Numan Acar is a Turkish/German actor. He came into acting as a second career after first working as an engineer. Numan recently appeared in the Golden Globe winning movie, IN THE FADE, opposite Diane Kruger who played his wife. He stars in Disney’s ALADDIN, directed by Guy Ritchie, and SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME as Dimitry. 

After making a name for himself in Germany, he was introduced to American audiences on Showtime’s Emmy and Golden Globe winning series, HOMELAND Season Four as Hassaim Haqqani, which he is now reprising in the final season. He went on to do Fox’s PRISON BREAK, the film 12 STRONG directed by Nicolai Fugis, THE PROMISE by Terry George, ALI AND NINO with director Asif Kapadia who had just won the Oscar for AMY, and Amazon’s JACK RYAN opposite John Krasinski. 

Numan speaks several languages—his native tongues, Turkish and German, along with English, some Spanish and some Arabic. He has trained in Martial Arts including Mixed Martial Arts, Capoeira, and Parkour. He lives in Berlin.
