With more than 18 years of experience in standup, Al Madrigal has parlayed his talents as a comedian into successful off-stage careers as an actor, correspondent, and podcaster. Since 2011, Madrigal has filed regular correspondent pieces for THE DAILY SHOW. Madrigal has also been seen on NBC's ABOUT A BOY, co-starring David Walton and Minnie Driver; FREE AGENTS with Hank Azaria and Kathryn Hahn; WELCOME TO THE CAPTAIN, with Jeffrey Tambor and Raquel Welch; GARY UNMARRIED, alongside Jay Mohr; THE TAX MEN, opposite Martin Short; and THE ORTEGAS, where he was the series lead.
In 2013, Madrigal starred in his first hour-long stand-up special WHY IS THE RABBIT CRYING on Comedy Central. He has been seen on CONAN, THE TONIGHT SHOW, THE LATE LATE SHOW, @Midnight and JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE. In 2015, Madrigal released his award-winning and critically acclaimed docu-comedy HALF LIKE ME. In 2013, Madrigal and Bill Burr launched the All Things Comedy network (ATC), a podcast and video network founded, owned and operated entirely by comedians.
