London native Holliday Grainger can be seen as the lead in the series CORMORAN STRIKE, written by JK Rowling, as well as in Philip K Dick's ELECTRIC DREAMS. Grainger first came to the attention of American audiences in the television series THE BORGIAS, and has appeared in such television productions as BONNIE & CLYDE, playing the titular role of Bonnie and earning nominations from the Critics’ Choice Awards for Best Actress in a Movie or Mini-Series and the Satellite Award for Actress in a Miniseries or a Motion Picture Made for Television; and in LADY CHATTERLEY’S LOVER among others.
Grainger’s film credits include Cary Fukunaga’s JANE EYRE, ANNA KARENINA and BEL AMI. In 2011, she starred in the leading role of Estella in Mike Newell’s film adaptation of GREAT EXPECTATIONS followed by one of the female leads in THE RIOT CLUB. Her recent films include Kenneth Branagh’s CINDERELLA, TULIP FEVER and MY COUSIN RACHEL.
