HOLLY HUNTER won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in The Piano, directed by Jane Campion, and received three other Oscar nominations for her performances in James L. Brooks’ Broadcast News, Sydney Pollack’s The Firm and Catherine Hardwicke’s Thirteen.

Hunter most recently received acclaim for her much talked-about recurring role on the critically-acclaimed series Succession and for her performance in the Judd Apatow produced comedy hit The Big Sick, directed by Michael Showalter, receiving nominations for both SAG Award and Independent Spirit Awards. Hunter also recently reprised her voice role as Elastigirl in Brad Bird’s blockbuster animated sequel The Incredibles 2.

Her TV credits include Emmy wins for Best Actress for her roles in The Positively True Adventures of the Alleged Texas Cheerleader-Murdering Mom and Roe vs. Wade, as well as Emmy nominations for her starring role on the series Saving Grace and for her roles in the television films When Billie Beat Bobby, Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her and Harlan County War. Hunter was reunited with Jane Campion for her SAG nominated performance in Top of the Lake and starred opposite Tim Robbins in Alan Ball’s series Here and Now.

Hunter will soon be seen starring opposite Ted Danson in Tina Fey and Robert Carlock’s new comedy series Mr. Mayor.

Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2008.
