All young Owen (Liam Aiken) wants is a pooch of his own, but the terrier he adopts turns out to be an alien investigator trying to determine why his canine fellows have not taken over the Earth. This fetching (get it?) comedy also stars Kevin Nealon and Molly Shannon, and boasts the vocal talents of Carl Reiner, Delta Burke, Matthew Broderick, Brittany Murphy and Donald Faison.
