Monty Python's The Meaning of Life

Rated R • 106 minutes

Managing with their unique sensibilities to be simultaneously daffy and satirical, this final film from the British comic troupe "Monty Python" is a collection of vignettes that pokes savage yet whimsical fun at humanity, from business (insurance salesmen that literally become pirates), sin (gluttonous Mr. Creosote's fatal wafer-thin mint), religion (a lavish production number devoted to the traditional Catholic view of procreation) to death itself, delivered via salmon mousse. Demented fun with Michael Palin, John Cleese and Eric Idle.
