Trading Places

Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy play two men whose paths were never meant to cross. Aykroyd is the wealthy, fastidious Louis Winthorpe III, an ex­ecutive in one of Philadelphia's leading investment firms. Murphy plays Billy Ray Valentine, who has spent his life in the ghetto surviving on his wits. They find their positions reversed in a scheme set in motion by the greedy, conniving Duke brothers, founders of the Duke and Duke commodity brokerage firm where Winthorpe is a junior partner.
