Unhinged LA police detective Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson) is reckless and reluctant to team up with homicide detective and family man Roger Murtaugh (Danny Glover) to investigate the suicide of a banker’s daughter. Once they uncover a massive drug trafficking ring, however, the unlikely duo join forces to wage a two-man war against the deadly criminals.
