Boy, an 11-year-old Michael Jackson fanatic, is left in charge of his brother and cousins when their Nana leaves town for a funeral. When Boy’s deadbeat dad suddenly turns up out of nowhere, the summer of ‘84 is turned upside down. As treasure hunts, fistfights, and fallouts ensue, Boy struggles to understand why his dad left in the first place. Directed by and starring Taika Waititi.
