The Friends of Eddie Coyle

Robert Mitchum stars in this noir character study as Eddie Coyle, a weapons dealer forced to make a deal with the government to become an informant on his crime family bosses. When his shady superiors learn that Eddie is a turncoat, they send his best friend Dillon (Peter Boyle) to kill him, but the softhearted Dillon has a hard time pulling the trigger.
