Mimic

With a story suggesting an urban exterminator's worst nightmare, "Mimic" recalls the "big bug" melodramas of the 1950s with a horror story of biological science run amok. Following an attempt to rid Manhattan of a dangerous plague, a new breed of giant cockroach with the ability to mimic humans evolves beneath the city. Now it is up to an athletic entomologist (Mira Sorvino), her husband (Jeremy Northam), a shoeshine man (Giancarlo Giannini) and others stranded in a subway car to see if they can survive.
