Vikram Gandhi

Vikram Gandhi is an award-winning director and correspondent for VICE News. Gandhi is also a non-fiction filmmaker, and was previously a producer and host for newsmagazine series, VICE, when it first launched in 2013. He has worked as a video-journalist in Asia, covering terror attacks in Mumbai, the conflict over Kashmir, Maoist rebels in India's Red Corridor, Taliban recruitment in Karachi, the earthquake in Northern Pakistan, monk protests in Myanmar, and the tsunami in Southeast Asia. He's also been a cinematographer for multiple documentaries in the U.S., including the 2005 Oscar-nominated STREET FIGHT, the award-winning CRAZYSEXYCANCER, and PBS Nova SCIENCENOW series.

Vikram's first feature film, the controversial KUMARE, received the Audience Award at SXSW 2011, and was named one of the best films of 2012 by IndieWire.
