Nineteen-year-old Harold is as macabre as they come, relishing in all things death. While attending a stranger’s funeral, Harold meets Maude, an eccentric, upbeat 79-year-old woman, and the two become unlikely friends. While the friendship grows and deepens into something more, Maude teaches Harold the true joy of living.
