Three middle-aged divorcées (Bette Midler, Diane Keaton, Goldie Hawn) reunite when their mutual friend from college commits suicide. Though the women have lost touch since their college years, they forge a new bond when they discover that all of their ex-husbands have left them for younger women. Together they form a pact: they will work as a team to get revenge on the men that took them for granted.
