Abbey Lee recently wrapped production on Kevin Costner’s HORIZON and will next be seen on the second season of the Dowdle Brothers’ Showtime series WACO: THE AFTERMATH opposite Michael Shannon. Other recent television credits include Netflix’s FLORIDA MAN opposite Edgar Ramirez for director Miguel Arteta and Exec Producer Jason Bateman, as well as the critically-acclaimed HBO series LOVECRAFT COUNTRY for Jordan Peele, Misha Green and J.J. Abrams. Abbey starred alongside Jonathan Majors, Jurnee Smollett, Courtney B. Vance and Michael Kenneth Williams. She made her feature debut opposite Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron in the Warner Brothers blockbuster MAD MAX: FURY ROAD directed by George Miller. The film went on to win six Academy Awards. Abbey followed that up with acclaimed director Sean Baker’s short feature SNOWBIRD, Lionsgate/Paramount’s GODS OF EGYPT, Paramount/Dreamwork’s comedy OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY and Sony/MRC’s feature THE DARK TOWER alongside Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey for director Nikolaj Arcel. She also starred as the villain opposite Elle Fanning in NEON DEMON (premiered at Cannes in 2016), written and directed by auteur filmmaker Nic Refn. Other feature credits include WELCOME THE STRANGER with Caleb Landry Jones and Riley Keough for director Justin Kelly, ELIZABETH HARVEST with Ciaran Hinds, Australian crime thriller 1% (premiered at TIFF in 2017 and sold to A24), Gaspar Noe's feature LUX AETERNA (premiered at Cannes in 2019), M. Night Shyamalan's OLD for Universal opposite Vicky Krieps and Gael Garcia Bernal and THE FORGIVEN (premiered at TIFF in 2021) directed by John Michael McDonagh and also starring Ralph Fiennes, Jessica Chastain, Matt Smith and Christopher Abbott.
